The card game is now available!

The first edition is now live in the shop! (Click here to visit)

After a year of test playing and editing we have finally arrived here at launch day. Right now there are only 300 decks available and selling fast. We have expansions and future plans in the works for this game. If you miss out more will be on the way soon. Thanks for stopping by and we will see you in the Badlands!

Card Game Drop Info

This Saturday we will be dropping our first run edition of the card game. The Blessed Blade of the Badlands is finally here!

After a year of test playing and editing we are happy to be finally releasing this. Each deck is built for two players so you will want to double up for larger groups. This game is more akin to Uno than Magic however there are Necromancy cards just the same. This can be a fast paced game of screwing people over that leads to more trash talk than a heated game of Mario Kart. It also can be a chill and quick game while you’re simply waiting for a meal at a restaurant or warming up for any game night at home.

After the last year of playing I can say that no two games have been the same so shuffle well and see who is the first to make it out of the Badlands.

We are currently planning future releases and expansions. Even after the one hundred plus games in the last year we are not tired of playing and look forward to joining you in a game soon.

Our Card Game is Coming!

Please enjoy this overview of the Blessed Blade of the Badlands gameplay experience!

This original game by Cherry Moth Cake(husband and wife team of Nick and Lindsay DiFabbio) has two or more adventurers head out, to make their way through the unknown obstacles of The Badlands to try and retrieve The Blessed Blade, the mightiest weapon in the land. Sometimes there is a victor, and sometimes all perish. Cherry Moth Cake has hosted well over a hundred test plays of the game, across the country over the last nine months- and we are happy to report that there are still new and exciting moves we haven’t seen before happening consistently. No one likes a game that is boring to replay, and this game seemingly holds infinite possibilities for the players who are trying to reach the heart of The Badlands. Featuring original illustrations from Nick DiFabbio, in a world created by him and his wife Lindsay. We are excited to build out the world in which all these creatures, heroes, monsters, and dangers exist. Cherry Moth Cake are currently editing the game and approaching its final draft. Plans are in action for optimized artwork, card design, dialog boxes, and a serialized storytelling project to help flesh out the world. The game is highly addictive. No experience with card games is needed to enjoy your time in the badlands. The game is designed to be easy to learn, quick to play, and encourage lots of trash talk. Maybe someone you thought was your friend leaves you to die in The Badlands, or maybe you annihilate their best card to keep them from getting The Blade!

Look for the Blessed Blade of the Badlands Kickstarter, coming this July.

Black Friday Special: Custom Kaiju Eyezons!

This Friday at 4pm eastern we will be offering up four custom painted Eyezon toys in the shop!

The mutant potato Eyezon is from the mind of the radical Mark Nagata over at Max Toy Co. Standing at 10 inches tall these sofubi icons are EPIC! Lindsay used UV paint to compliment the mutation. The pink body and yellow body with the blue feet react the strongest as their entire bodies radiate. The black with glowing eyes and the tricolor with black eyes have more of a softer, subtle reaction as seen in the pics below without their reflection.

Drop price is $250 each.

Custom Skullys At Five Points Fest 2021

Skullicious at Rotofugi 2021

It is always a joy to return to Chicago every year for our annual event with Rotofugi. Being able to debut out new Skully vinyl toys this year was a dream come true. Due to the pandemic we were unable to make the trip in 2020 and in 2021 the shop welcomed us as their first in person gallery event since. Chicago will always be a home away from home for Lindsay and I.

If you missed out on viewing the galley pieces this year you may view them by clicking here. There are also items available from previous shows as well. If you would like to see those you can click here.

Lindsay and I are already working on how to make 2022 the most epic meet-up to date.

Thank you Joe at Squibbles Ink for the pics below not to mention these fine Skully toys!

Pin Drop: Ice Glops

On Saturday September 11th, the Ice Glops are coming!

These pins are two inches, name stamped, numbered and double posted. The epoxy top-coating trapping in the glitter against the blues truly giving it an icy feel. Like freshly frozen water over a ghastly spectre. If you would like to lower temps even further be sure to check out the Ice Glops against a UV light.

Five raw pins will be added to random orders. Pins come packaged with numbered headers. The number on the header matches the number of your pin. Package also comes with a two inch sticker of the design.

The shop can be found here if you need a link. Drop time is 9:42 pm eastern.

Limited edition of 75. One per person.

Also included are three other Mars Attacks boards from Santa Cruz. The Sparkle Reaper, Metallic Terror and Glowing Fear. You can check out the listing and more info by clicking here.

Spectral Spire is coming!

The Spectral Gateway print drop was absolutely dynamite so the followup had to be fire. We set our sights higher and placed our first six color screen print into production. The Spectral Spire made it’s debut in issue 7 of the Zarts zine and the toy was a hit at Assembly Required this year. It went on to see a tee and toy release here at home a little later this year as well. The Spectral Spire is on an absolute conquest!

Size will be 18x24.

Drop info TBA

UPDATE! (May 16) These beautiful prints arrived damaged from UPS so things are being reworked. I’ll keep you updated as things progress. Cheers.
