Announcing an ALL NEW Patreon Exclusive Webcomic

From Patreon:

This week inspiration struck and we have outlined a five chapter comic! This is wonderful news because it gives me an opportunity to work through some things and hone some techniques right before I begin inking Seven Spirits. For example, I've been experimenting more with using a brush and adding lots of white on top of my inks. It sounds pretty simple but once you start scanning to go digital- things can get a little complicated for me. Being self taught, I am encountering some learning curves.

The webcomic updates will be in strip form and not full multi-panel pages; although you may see the strip break in to more than one panel at times. The story relies heavily on mood and visual effects and there will be little to no dialogue. We'll reference some concepts from previous years, but also have a fresh chance to move forward and establish some firm rules for the world we're building.

Access to comic updates will be available at a basic three dollar membership here. Eventually, down the road there will be print versions of the comic- but Patreon subscribers will be able to see the story before it goes to print.

One difference between Baba Gordia and Seven Spirits is Baba Gordia is heavier on the horror vibes when it comes to blending horror with fantasy. I'll be leaning on graphics harder to efficiently get ideas and points across for story telling since we won't have much if any dialogue; whereas Seven Spirits will be a bit more dialog-driven and not quite so nightmarish.

We start posting comic updates here next week on February 23rd. There will be two comic posts each week. Each chapter is 16 updates which will be approximately 80 strips by the end of chapter five. I've also posted some of my concept sketches here of the witch so you can see her silhouette; so please check that out for an insight into what her figure conceals.

More soon.

These are prototype colorways for the Patreon toy from May, all are one of a kind color combos, and are about an inch and a half tall. Customarily, prototype pieces are not released or sold, but there were so many of this figure it seemed greedy to keep them all for ourselves.
They’ll be blind bagged and limited one order per person.
